My name is Ernest Foster Stephens III, but for years I’ve gone by the alias “The Underground Sophisticate” as my online persona. I’m a freelance digital artist currently based in the United States.
In my youth I was immersed in classic cartoons, anime, video games, and comics that continue to influence the style of art I create to this very day. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas by a loving family that encouraged my creative endeavors. After I graduated high school, work for me consisted of fairly normal jobs; unfortunately, my creativity stagnated during those years of toil. Currently, as I nurture my love for creativity, I’m working on rebuilding myself into a man I can be proud of.
